MacOS 10.13 High Sierra is available from 25 September. Wacom are advising that the Wacom Driver for macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) will not be available immediately. If you upgrade, you most likely will not be able to use your Wacom product at all until the new driver is released. Most IT professionals will recommend NOT upgrading any computer which is important to your workflow without first verifying that ALL the applications, drivers and devices will work. Additionally, as High Sierra involves an update to the APFS filesystem, downgrading is going to be a lot bit more difficult and will require a complete erase of your computer. Edit: link to Wacom Support page with their announcement: • • • • •. I think the thing that really stings, is that whether you regard something like astropad as serious competition or a curiousity, they keep the drivers compatible and stable with no control over ANY of the hardware themselves with presumably a much smaller team. (not an advert, i personally need a real cintiq up and running) wacom charge too much to treat customers this badly and throw blame around for their own failings. They're implying google is at fault for their pen currently not working in chrome- a web browser ffs! Yeah they’re ridiculous. They have zero competition. People in graphic arts rely on Wacom. I’ve been using Wacom tablets for like 10+ years and over time it’s gotten worse. Isn’t this their main source of income?? I get it Apple is to blame for certain things but they have a 6+ month beta program every year and Wacom needs to get their ish together and launch stable drivers with each update. Wacom Driver for 10.13 High Sierra. Apple has released 10.13 High Sierra on September 25th. Wacom is currently working on a new driver update to support the new operating system. The new Wacom driver will be ready by late October at the latest. Due to nature of the changes in High Sierra, the existing Wacom driver for 10.12 will not work. I don’t use windows so i can’t attest to how stable it is on that platform. But it took them 8 months to get decent Sierra drivers going. Really drives me insane. I don’t get it. I have a Mac OS Sierra. I had a intuos 3 wacom tablet, was working well before i upgrade to mac Sierra. Pencil do not correspond well. I tried a Cintiq 13 hd. Less but similaire problems. They help me to un install, and install again (with older and late driver) I did it several time. Still not working well. What im suppose to do?! I've recently purchased a MacBook Pro 2016 with Mac OS 10.12.3. After 2 days I starting having problems with my intous pro. Over sensitivity of the pen. It appears to select everything. Can not click or drag finder windows or applications Photoshop cc 2017 im not able to select a tool or select items in panels. There is some kind of delay. I had both laptop and tablet checked by an apple certified technician. The hardware is working perfect. According to tech guy is a driver compatibility issue. Dropbox for macbook. Driver for hdd docking station for mac. Wacom support is aware of the issue and sent driver 6.3.19-11, No luck. With help of apple support I have re-installed the system. Created a new admin user and deleted the previous one. I've been cheery picking drivers from wacom. 7-Zip is designed for creating or unpacking archived and compressed files. 7zip for mac osx. For the standard ZIP and GZIP formats, 7the application promises to deliver a compression ratio that is 2 - 10% better than that provided by PKZip or WinZip, and the native 7zip format can provide a 45% reduction in file size from the common zip format. The application can unpack 7zip, ZIP, CAB, RAR, ARJ, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, CPIO, RPM and DEB files, or create file archives in those formats. Crazy and frustrating for any creative professional.
